Have you ever been played for a fool, stuck to that one person who just won't give you the attention you are looking for or deserve? Despite all that you stick around for a while in hopes that they will give it to you, until you hit that breaking point and you finally admit to yourself that it's over. These are the mind games Sean Reyes writes about in his song "Just Another". This song features the pop/rock driven vocal stylings, mixed with the punk inspired musical influence of Sean Reyes, complemented by James Pew (producer), and Adam Campbell (drummer and member of critically-acclaimed percussion orchestra Torq). The sum of these elements culminate into a song that can be described as far more than its title. Within its first 5 days of release, "Just Another" hit over 40,000 views on YouTube, more than doubling that of his previous debut release. And has also already received 2 online reviews. This energetic song is the official 2nd release by Sean Reyes from his upcoming LP “Know Thyself”. Recorded by James Pew at Euphonic Sound Studios.
After spending nearly 2 years in a very delicate state of health due to a traumatic brain injury back in 2009. Sean Reyes has miraculously bounced back and has since given his utmost time and attention to his music. During his recovery he spent whatever time he could networking, promoting and writing new material. So when it came time to record an album he was ready. His debut single and music video released in February 2012 caught some major attention, garnering him five 2012 Indie Music Channel Awards nominations and winning him the award for Best Male Pop Artist. The awards ceremony was held in April 2012 at The Legendary House of Blues in Hollywood, California. This brought on a media trickle effect and Sean Reyes was featured in The Oakville Beaver news. At the same time, he was reviewed by online blogger/reviewer Matt Bible who stated "His mix of acoustic rock, pop, pop-punk, and alternative music sets him apart from artists of the same genre. Think Bon Jovi, Dashboard Confessional, and Daughtry blended into one voice".
Watch and listen now to “Just Another” and witness the next chapter of Sean Reyes, as he inspires his sophisticated and diverse audience in 2012 and beyond.
